Why does the Tugella resemble a BMW X4?

The resemblance comes mainly from the coupe-SUV proportions, not from the two vehicles being the same design. Both use a raised SUV body with a sloping fastback roof, a short rear deck and a sporty stance. Geely itself describes the Tugella as a coupe SUV and highlights its 14° fastback roof angle.
