The Pickup emphasizes maximum output and range, while the shorter SUV trades some power and range for a closed cargo area and more compact body. Both use the HUMMER EV's signature four-wheel-steering and off-road technology.
What is CrabWalk?
CrabWalk turns the rear wheels in the same direction as the front at low speed so the vehicle can move diagonally. It is intended for maneuvering around obstacles rather than normal road driving.
Extract Mode and underbody cameras
Available Extract Mode raises the vehicle roughly six inches, while UltraVision can provide underbody camera views. These features are designed to help a very large EV manage difficult terrain.
