What do 6C and 460 kW mean?
6C describes charging rate relative to battery capacity, while 460 kW is a vehicle charging-power figure. A higher-rated charging station does not mean the car will accept its full output. See C-rate explained and charger power vs car power.
What does LiDAR add?
Selected variants add roof-mounted LiDAR and additional sensing hardware for driver-assistance functions. LiDAR alone does not define an automation level; buyers need to check the actual ADAS functions and driver-responsibility rules for their market. What is LiDAR?
Is this the same EX5 sold globally?
Galaxy E5 is the basis of the global EX5, but specifications vary by market. Geely positions EX5 as a global model and has expanded it across Europe and the Middle East; the new China update does not automatically confirm 800V, 6C and LiDAR for every export version.
Saudi Arabia and GCC
EX5 has already been officially launched in the UAE, making the model relevant to the region. Until Geely or a local distributor publishes updated specifications, the 635 km CLTC, 460 kW and LiDAR figures should be treated as China-market specifications.
