Yes. In September 2026, Mohsin Automobiles LLC signed a strategic distribution agreement with XPENG and became the authorised XPENG distributor in the Sultanate of Oman. The agreement covers development of a sales and after-sales network, including dedicated showroom facilities, servicing and customer support.

The announcement is important because it moves XPENG in Oman from an import/interest story to an official distribution market.

Mohsin Automobiles LLC is the authorised distributor. XPENG was represented at the agreement by its Middle East and Africa leadership.

Which XPENG models could be sold in Oman?

XPENG has not yet confirmed the final Oman model list, so buyers should treat any specific Oman lineup as unconfirmed until the local launch announcement. The models most relevant to watch are XPENG's international SUVs, particularly the G6 and G9, because XPENG has already used them in its Gulf expansion.

The newer XPENG G9L is also worth watching as XPENG expands its next-generation global range, but CarGlossary is not listing it as an Oman model unless XPENG or its Oman distributor confirms local availability.

Where is XPENG available in the GCC?

XPENG's Gulf expansion began with the United Arab Emirates, where the company partnered with Ali & Sons Holding and launched the G6 and G9.
