INEOS Grenadier Trialmaster: off-road hardware, specs and original photos

The Grenadier Trialmaster is the off-road-focused Station Wagon trim, pairing permanent 4WD and a two-speed transfer case with front and rear differential locks, raised air intake and heavy-duty utility preparation.

Why Trialmaster matters: It is the Grenadier trim that most directly bundles the mechanical features serious off-road users usually add later — locking differentials, all-terrain tyres, raised intake and auxiliary electrical preparation.

What the Trialmaster Edition adds

INEOS describes the Trialmaster as the extreme-off-road trim. On the Saudi product page it adds front and rear differential locks, a raised air intake, 17-inch steel wheels, BFGoodrich all-terrain tyres, a high-load auxiliary switch panel and electrical preparation.

Core Grenadier off-road hardware

Standard Grenadier hardware includes permanent four-wheel drive, a two-speed transfer case, centre differential lock, solid Carraro beam axles, heavy-duty coil suspension and front/rear skid plates. Learn the hardware in our explainers for transfer cases, low range and differential locks.

Off-road geometry

INEOS publishes 264 mm ground clearance, 800 mm wading depth, a 35.5° approach angle, 28.2° breakover angle and 36.1° departure angle for the Station Wagon.

Why the interior looks different

The Grenadier uses both a central control system and an overhead control panel. Our original cabin photos show the physical off-road controls, low-range selector and auxiliary switches; see what an auxiliary switch panel is.
